Current Events 414 - A study of the current world scene, emphasizing critical thinking and discussion; utilizes print and electronic media (1s/5h)

Music Theory 424 - Basic theory with emphasis on beginning composition (1s/5h)

Economics 416 - An overview of basic economic theory including supply and demand, micro and macro economics, the stock market, credit, debt, savings and taxation with personal finance and stewardship applications. (1s/5h)

Art 426 - Theory and practice of tactile and visual arts (1s/5h)

Advanced Writing 435 - The student will write often, comment on writing by others, study published writing, and discuss how weak writing fails and strong writing works. (1s, 5h)
