Meet the Athletic Director

Well, football camp is underway and the rest of the camps will begin August 17. I thought this would be a good time to let you about some of our changes in coaching responsibilities.

With our numbers down from previous years we will not be having a freshmen volleyball team. We will only have JV and Varsity volleyball teams. Mrs. Alyssa Schroeder will be the JV head coach and her assistant will be Mrs. Faith Naumann. If you don’t know these two ladies they are the wives of our male tutors, Mark Schroeder and Andrew Naumann. Our Varsity coach will be Jim Kasemeyer and his assistants will be Lindsay Proeber and Kelly Mundt.

We only have one change in the area of cross-country. Prof. Kathy Kock will still be the head coach and Prof. Tim Malchow will be her assistant.

The football program had to make a few changes within after Prof. Malchow stepped down as head JV football coach. Dean John Boggs is taking over as head coach of the JV football team. His assistants will be Larry Schwartz, Prof. Marcus Bode, and Tutor Mark Schroeder. The varsity staff will have Prof. Larry Seafert as head coach and assisted by Prof. Karl Schmugge and John Lagolo.

I thank the Lord that we have such willing men and women to help make our sports program a success. May the Lord bless these men and women in their seasons.
