Nouvel 12-04-2007
We lost to Nouvel 52-82.
It was a tough season opener to Nouvel. They are a talented team and we have some things to work on. Joe Lindloff led the way in scoring with 10 points followed by Mark Voss with nine and Lucas Proeber with eight.

JV lost 30-57
Ithaca 12-07-2007
On Friday we lost our first conference game to Ithaca 55-64. We played a much better game than our first one. What really hurt us was that we missed 16 free-throws. That may have been the difference in the game. On a more positive side, Ryan Krellwitz hit five 3 pointers for 15 points. That kept us in the game.

Hemlock 12-11-2007
We won our first game of the season last night 50-45 over Hemlock. We played sluggish in the first half (11 turnovers and a bundle of shots missed in the paint). We lost some ground in the beginning of the 3rd quarter and we were down by as many as nine. The guys kept working and got to within five at the end of the 3rd quarter. We worked hard in the fourth and out-scored Hemlock 21-11 for the victory.

St. Charles 12-14-2007
At St. Charles we lost 69-77. We battled back twice from 10 point deficits only to lose it at the end. We continue to struggle on defense, which is something we have to work on in order to win the big games.
Josh Byers led all scorers with 27 pts. Joe Lindloff had 12 and Dan Miller had 10.
Valley Lutheran 12-18-2007
The boys basketball team got a big conference win last night. We beat Valley Lutheran 56-52. The key to our victory was our defense in the second half. After allowing 34 points in the first half and being down by 10 pts., we only gave up 18 pts in the whole second half. Josh Byers led the offense with 15 pts. followed by Joe Lindloff with 14. Josh also had 10 rebounds and Dan Miller 9 boards. It was a good conference win.

Carrollton 12-20-2007
We got our second conference victory last night verses Carrrollton. We won the hard fought battle 55-52. Josh Byers and Joe Lindloff were the leading scorers with 18 pts. and 15 pts. respectively. Josh also did a great defensive job on their leading scorer. Their leading scorer only scored 8 pts. in the game. He was averaging well over 15 for the year. It is a good way to finish this part of the season going into the Christmas break with two conference wins.

Merrill 1-08-2008
On Tuesday night we beat Merrill 54-42. We started with a good first quarter by out scoring them 12-4 and by finishing strong by out scoring them in the fourth quarter 20-10. Joe Lindloff finished with a double-double, 16 pts. and 12 rebounds. Josh Byers chipped in 13 pts. and 8 rebounds.

St. Louis 1-11-2008
On Friday we lost to a good St. Louis team by a score of 55-65. They wore us down in the fourth quarter and pulled away. Joe Lindloff led the way with 13 pts followed by Josh Byers with 10 pts. and 11 rebounds.

Breckenridge 1-15-2008
Last night we beat Breckenridge 85-53 in our last game before the cross-over game. We shot 52% from the field, 64% from the 3-point line, and 67% from the free-throw line. We made a season high seven 3-pointers. We were led by Josh Byers with 17, Joe Lindloff with 16, and Aaron Rupprecht with 11.

John Glenn 1-28-2008
Last night we beat John Glenn 45-25. Our defense did a good job and we rebounded very well. We got a needed boost from Dominic Chambers who had 15 pts., 6 rebounds, and 4 steals.

We continue to play well. We won our fifth straight game beating Merrill 71-59. We had four players in double figures: Josh Byers, Ryan Krellwitz, Joe Lindloff, and Mark Voss. Joe had a double-double with 15 pts. and 10 assists. Mark had a double-double with 14 pts. and 10 rebounds.

St. Louis 2-15-2008
Last Friday we completed our week going 3-0 by beating St. Louis 63-60. That also extended our win streak to six games. The win also put us tied for second in the conference.

Bullock Creek 2-19-2008
Well, the streak came to an end last night at Bullock Creek. We lost 65-69. It was a good game to watch, but they put us away with a good fourth quarter.

Breckenridge 2-21-2008
We finished the regular season last night with a 72-50 win at Breckenridge. We finished the conference in 2nd place with a 10-4 record. In the second half of conference play we were 6-1. Overall we finished 12-8. Next week we play our first district game on Weds. at 7:30 pm at Beal City. Our opponent will be determined Monday night.
