Student Council
Elected representatives of MLS contribute to Seminary family in many
ways. The whole Council meets over the lunch on Day 3 and the executive
Council gather over the noon meal on Day 1. During these meetings they
plan service activities for the community and fun for the student body.
Activities include:
Blood Drives (Michigan Community Blood Center)
- Friday, September 26, 2008 -Blood Drive
Christmas Party
Homecoming
Junior Senior Banquet
Talent Show
Costume Party
Winter Carnival
Sight & Sound
The members of Sight and Sound meet only a few times each year, but they function year-round. The commitment does not require a great deal of time. The level of "knowledge" depends on your interest. You can learn a great deal about sound and lighting if you want, or just enough to help film events if you prefer. We work the best when no one even knows we're there.
Key contributions to MLS:
We film home (and some away) sporting events, run sound and lights for chapel, and set-up/take-down for school concerts. Additional projects include tech support for drama productions, on and off campus banquets/programs, and occasional installation and maintenance of instructional tech support.
