*Vocational Intent:

The Wisconsin Synod has established Michigan Lutheran Seminary to prepare young people for entrance to Martin Luther College and full-time service in the church. MLS therefore enrolls only students who acknowledge the unique purpose of the school and understand that the training they will receive reflects this unique purpose. We do not expect incoming students to know for sure whether they will end up in the public ministry, but we do ask all students to give prayerful consideration to such a goal, and we do expect them willingly to accept that encouragement.
