MLS Governing Board
As one of our WELS four ministerial education schools, Michigan Lutheran Seminary (MLS) exists to encourage young men and women in their high school years to consider serving the Lord as a pastor, teacher or staff minister in our church body, the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS). Because MLS is owned and operated by WELS and under the direction of the Board of Ministerial Education (BME), representatives from across our synod govern the affairs of our school. Those listed below have been elected by our synod to serve on the Governing Board of MLS. Several of them are MLS alumni. A few of them have a connection to MLS in other ways. All of them love this school and its mission. They serve because they understand Jesus’ imperative to pray for more workers in the harvest field (Matthew 9:38).
