Welcome to Michigan Lutheran Seminary

Faculty, staff, and coaches model active ministry as they walk alongside students, helping them apply Biblical truth to real questions, relationships, and challenges. We give students meaningful opportunities to share the gospel in word and action through a variety of activities – athletics, clubs, choir tours, admissions events, and hands-on ministry experiences. MLS students are prepared to share their faith with conviction, humility, and grace wherever God places them.

At MLS, learning goes beyond knowledge for today and builds a foundation for life. Every subject is taught through the lens of God’s Word, helping students grow in both understanding and wisdom. Our faculty guides students to think deeply, solve problems collaboratively, and apply learning with discernment. Beyond mastering content, MLS students pursue the kind of understanding that is shaped by faith and become lifelong learners who serve God and others.

Students at MLS do more than attend school. They become part of a family. Faith and friendship shape daily life. Faculty, coaches, and dorm staff guide students in worship and interactions with one another across classrooms, dorms, fields, courts, and stages. These daily interactions cultivate habits of integrity, humility, and care for others. In moments of celebration and challenge alike, students experience the blessing of belonging to a family of believers that is a source of support and strength throughout their entire lives.
